Default Powder coating exhaust

I am trying to decide between the ceramic coated BR or the chrome big radius. I like the look of the chrome one better but like a black exhaust. If i were to powder coat the BR would it hold up nicely or would the powder coating get bad after a while.

Thanks

I have been told that Powder can't take the heat of the exhaust and that it will flakeover time..Ceramic coating is the way to go for exhaust. $$$$$$

Since the V&H BR have full coverage heat shields, you will be okay with just powdercoating the "heat shields". I had a set ofPythons (aka V&H)for over 2 years and had no problems. I currently have a set of BRs powdercoated and love them. For those pipes that don't have full coverage heat shields you would probably want to have them ceramic coated.

But if you like the look of chrome .... stick with the chrome for a little bit.

My heat shieldsare powder coated black with regular (not high heat) powder and have been fine for about 500 miles. Like the others said,ifI was doing the actual pipe itself I'd go with ceramic.

You don't want the powder coat. Go wht the ceramic if you are going to spend the money.
