Default Question about Stage 1 SE and PCIII

I bought an '07 NT last week and it has the SE Stage1 AC and bassani pro street 2:2 pipes. It doesn't have a PCIII so I'm hoping that it has actually been tuned for the mods. If it has been tuned correctly is there any advantage of installing a PCIII? If there is can I just install it without resetting the ECM to the default mapping?

If the bike already has been mapped properly, you do not need a PCIII, save your money.

The first thing is to find out if the bike has been remapped, which more than likely it has been. If it has, you can't put a PCIII on it untilthe ECMhas been "unmapped" or returnedto the stock ECM calibration. If it has, and you like the way it runs (H-D stage 1 downloads are crap) then feel free to leave it alone. If it hasn't, then I would recommend adding some type of fuel management.

If you had HD do the A/C and the pipes they should do the SERT as wellbecause the default ECM can't handle theincreased air flowand I'm sure you will know if HD did the CERTonce you get the bill for the upgrade if you haven't already.

I bought the bike from the dealer but it's a used one they had gotten in on trade last week. I forgot to ask if it had been remapped. I'll take it in for service and have them check it out.
