Wider 21" front wheel for Softail
I've been thinking about changing my front wheel. I'm not interested in a smaller wheel, just wider. Has anyone swapped the front wheel on an FX softail with a 21 x 3.25 running a 120/70-21 tire? The stock is 21in x 2.15 I think, so we are talking an inch+ wider rim.
If anyone has done this, how hard was it? Need special spacers or anything. Thanks in advance.

I'm saving the $$$ for new wheels and tires as we speak. I'm going with that same setup:
18" x 5.5" rear - 200mm
21" x 3.25"front - 120mm
Check out bikersimage.com, they have pics of a Street Glide with that front set-up. Not an FX but it gives you an idea.... Good luck
