Default Fat is where it's at!! With Pics!

Got my fat front tire from Andycg, put it on yesterday with no major problems. Gotta love the look! The ride is a little different than before, but I think some of it is due to the front sitting lower, changing the trail...but I'm going to drop the rear this weekend to give it the original stance (going on turns, it feels like it wants to keep leaning, rather than trying to right itself...). Took it for a test ride today, and got approached twice (once asking if it was a Fatboy, another just to say awesome!)

Before pic, for comarison.....

Your bike looks great, I love that look!

As far as the handling, I've noticed the same thing with mine. I'm not as comfortable as I used to be going hard into corners. Mine wants to "wander" just enough to notice, it also wiggles some going down the road at speed with the slightest shift of my weight. Its almost like it "wants" to turn now and when cornering I have to keep it from going in too deep. I know it sounds weird but that is the best way I can describe it.

I've lowered the rear of mine 2" so I doubt that is going to have any real effect. I'm hoping for an answer as well, anyone have any ideas?

Thanks guys!
RACKnRAIL: I like the somewhat retro look it gives it. I picked up a 12" z-bar on ebay, I'm hopin it will add to the look.

blackness: That's a pretty close description, I don't think mine tries to "wiggle" as much when goin straight, but I've only been on a short test-ride (damn time constraints). I did take it to my local indy for a once over (wanted to be sure I did everything right), he said all looks ok. it does sit (less than) 1/16" to the left, but I dont think thats it. I think it's more me not being used to a fat front tire, and the trail...we'll see. All in all I like it though

tk353:
I know, but I didnt "fit" right on the FB....seat config and floorboards, etc...can't really explain it.

I was going to do that, but there wasn't much to show other than remove and replace...I got mine from Andycg already set up, it's a stock wide-glide hub, Akront rim, and spokes from hdwheels.
