I have a 2006 Night Train with the wide 200 rear tire. Will the Metzeler 210zr 17 fit this bike? Metzeler ME880 XXL 210/ZR-17. I have around 1/2 inch clearance on each side.

 

Yes it will, its what Metzler calls a "stage 1" upgrade.
Their idea of a stage 1 is that the tire will fit on your stock rim in the stock frame without any modifications. The tire is actually just a hair under 1/2" wider than the stock 200mm so things will fit, but it can get a tad 'snug' under there.

 

Yep it fits, I have it on mine. Belt clearance is tight, but it doesn't rub (see pic).

I've had it on mine for @2k miles with no problems.

The Yamaha Raider runs a 210/40R18. Anyone know if that tire will fit in there on my train on an 18in wheel?
