Default 120 HP 130 FTlbs out of a 103cc???

I was at a local bike show yesturday and there was a guy there with a 03 Fatboy with the Screaming eagle 103 heads and he had a dyno graph showing that he put down 120.8 HP and around 130-140 ftlb's of torque. Is that possible with the 103 kit?? I mean that is amazing and whatever he had done to it I would love to do it to my bike. What all would it take to make those numbers????

With the proper head work, high compression pistons (not the stock 103 pistons) and a great cam and you might be able to squeeze out these numbers. It would be tough though. Those are the kind of numbers usually associated with a 117-120 ci kit. Hell, Jim's motors (in the Screamin' Eagle Catalog) is only quoting 120 hp with a 120 inch motor.

see thats what i was thinking. i have NEVER seen those numbers out of that small cubed of a motor. i thought it was awesome but knew he had to of had tons of work done to that motor to get it to see those numbers. hell, i would be satisfied with 100 hp and 100 ftlbs

My father's road king has big bore kit, high comp piston, stroker crank, heads, cam, PCIII, thunder header exhaust and hig flow intake his dyno was 100HP and 110 ft. lbs. torque.

Hard to acheive those numbers he is stating but probably can be done. Why spend so much on a 103 engine when you can acheive that with a bigger motor?

I have a FLHX arriving a couple of weeks.

I have a 103CI ordered with ported heads, high compression pistons, 45mm Carb, etc. (all Screaming eagle stuff). It is reputed to have 120hp, 115 Tq.

I am hoping this is accurate, time will tell.
