I am looking for a replacement set of tires for my 2003 100th Anniv. Fatboy. The Stock (orig) tires are still on it now. Dunlop 402's, Elite III's, Avon Venom's, Metzeler? What's the 'best' out there?

I ride solo and passenger around half and half...

Thoughts?

P.S. I have searched through - and read - many posts on this topic and I realize that opinions vary... allll riiight.

 

i put michelin tires on mine i really like them except they are not as fat as the originals that part i dont like. but the bike handles really good now . the tires are softer so it feels like they get alot more grip

 

Reaper has Metzeler ME880s and I love 'em.

I'm an Avon fan. Used them on all my bikes, early japanese and the Hogs. Like them a lot. Decent wear and great road handling. Maybe don't wear as good as Dunlop but not that much less. I run the Venoms and get about 10-11 thousand miles on the rear.

 

I have a Metzler chart i can email you if you pm me with your email address. i found i like the Dunlop on the rear and the Metzler on the front. Now i have handling and tire millage
