Default Long Distance on a Heritage Classic

I'M planning my trip and began thinking about weight a clearances. Anyway here ridden 2 up with luggage on a Heritage Classic?
Any issues with suspension and clearance?
I am keeping luggage to about 20 lbs including the bag and then have to figure the tool kit, water bottles and other little necessities.

did a trip with me and missus - between us and the gear we took ( including a pack on a sissy bar rack ) we were well over 400 pounds.&nbsp\\; just make sure you have the shocks adjusted up to their max. otherwise you might find the ride a bit soft.&nbsp\\; &nbsp\\;

Wife, me, luggage total more than 450 and weve got about 8,000 miles together on our 07 Heritage. Adjust the shocks to a stiffer setting and you should be fine.

A buddy and his wife rode their fatboy from east to west coast 6 times loaded for bear. I don't know how they packed all that chit on there.

I made 2 round trips from Alaska to South Dakota carrying way too much stuff. Only rubbed the tire once coming down from a huge frost heave over in the Yukon at 75 mph. [:@]
