Default fatboy battery

just had to change my fatboys original battery dealer charged me 30min labor $40 to do it i also had a battery tender wire attached after i payed and got home i started to think about it 30min to change a battery anyone else think this is wrong

At least they only dinged ya for .5 hr, be happy they didn't get ya for an hour. Did they wash and dry your baby? They gotta make their money somehow!! How well do you know the dealer? Are you a frequent visitor/shopper? Did you buy the battery there? Those will make a difference in what they ding ya for! Just my 2.5 cents!

i do alot of buisness with them and i bought the battery there just dont think it takes that long to unscrew a battery and install another.&nbsp\\; i would have installed it myself but on the way to the dealer i had to push start the bike so i was desperate

Yeah I know what ya mean about being desperate and the gotta have it now feeling!! At least they could've thrown in a t-shirt!! The things we do for these babies!

&nbsp\\;You had the dealer change the battery?! They don't breathe on a bike without giving you a bill. It takes longer to get the seat off than to pull the battery. The greedy miscreants.

dont have a problem paying it but just wondered if it was fair...............i just bought a new bike from them and im there at least 2 times a month haveing stuff put on probabaly given them 40, 000 so far

I know alot of service companies charge a minimum and then in 5-10-15 minute increments so on and so forth
