Default Risers for '03 NT w/Stock Drag Bars

I am currently riding an '03 NT with stock drag bars and risers. I love the look of the bars, but want a little more pull back. I am 5'10" and have to lean forward a little too much for my liking especially on a long ride. I have read that the 9 1/2" pull back risers are great, but wanted some other opinions. I know the stock risers are 6" so could I get away with the 6 1/2" pullbacks or do I need to go with 9 1/2" to clear the tank? Also do I need to get new cables or do stock work fine?

I'm your height and I have the wild one drag bars that are the same exact measurements of the harley street slammers. I absolutely love these bars.I used to have the NT bars on my standard.&nbsp\\; I think getting the 9" bars will look goofy, too much rise, IMFUO.

Highly recommend arlen ness forward control extensions too.

You think... lol... Here you go 9" up 3" Pull on mine... But I think the 8" would be nice on yours and the street slammers are great quality they have smoothed out welds thats important, trust me I know... Same with the wildone I only here good things about those. Try holding a broom stick while sitting on you bike... then have someone measure for you where you fell comfy... That will help on picking the right bars for you!&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;Aloha&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
