I just need some opinions on the night train I have a 06 sporster that is all chromed out and sick of polishing it. (OCD) I am thinking of going a diffrent direction with the all black train, How is all that black,is it hard to keep clean because I know you cant polish that type of material. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I just bought a new vivid black 2008 (they were finally released in Taiwan a month ago, import requirements, gov't rubber stamps) and nary a day has gone by without my **** in the saddle. i LOVE it!! I don't clean it myself; there are plenty of excellent detailer shops here, but when it is finished, it is amazing with the shiny black contrasted with the matt. DO IT

I may be a bit biased, and not to sound like I'm conceeded but just last night I parked my bike in front of a bar to get coffee with my girlfriend b/f work, and apparently the manager liked to call the space out front "his" b/c he had his brand new Duc. 848 Parked longways in the spot, I just backed in behind it, got off the bike and the kid walks over and says "if that were any less of a bike you were riding I would ask you not to park there" (that always feels good) He proceeded to eye**** my bike and tell me how much he liked the all blacked look, and asked me if everything was stock. I assured him it wasn't, said "Nice Duck" and walked away... So yeah, All Pros, No Cons..

On a sidenote, when my sled is paid for, I plan on getting Either a Road King, a Buell 1125s, or a Ducatti 848 like he was riding....
