Rocker exhaust Insanity

Rocker exhaust Insanity
Hi. My name is Rich. I have a few questions about putting an exhaust on the Rocker.
I see a lot of people have mounted new exhausts on their bikes and want to do the same. This thing is entirely too quite. After second gear, I hear nothing and with no tach, I have no clear signs to if I'm lugging the engine, overrevving, so on and so forth.....
I think for the time being I would just like to mount a set of slip ons until Rinehart makes a 2 into 1 for it.
My question then becomes, if you have slip ons, were they modeled for another year of Softail, ie. pre-07. (Not S.E. as they and not loud at all anymore.)
If someone with a 2000-06 Softy with the staggered shorties could measure the distance between the mounting bolts on the bottom of the mufflers, (where the mufflers bolt to the support tube), that would help me out greatly. It would then point me in the right direction.
I have been riding a Buell for the last five years and still have a lot to learn about my Rocker, so I imagine you will be hearing from me quite a bit until I get all the knowledge I can about the bike's fuel injection, various fitments, so on and so forth.
Thanks in advance,
Rich
