Default Fourbidden headers for 07-08 softails

http://www.hookerpipes.com/product_p/27913-3hkr.htm

It shows on there site they are available now for 96ci engines. What makes the Rocker (what I own) need a seperate part number for headers, like the V&H? Different clearances I guess? How would a non rocker specific pipe fit on a Rocker? TIA

It's part of how fuel injected motors read the outgoing exhaust.

When I called Hooker they said the Fourbidden's didn't fit, but, like Rocker00 said, there's somebody that can make them fit. Will that void the warranty? Hopefully Hooker will set up a spot at biketoberfest and i can talk to them more.

Please do. The guy on the phone didn't know much and I don't know who to contact to get any solid info.

What is the object of having 4 into 1 instead of 2 into 1? Is it just to look different?
I went on the Hooker site and couldn't find out how to get any information on them except for price and style. There was nothing on the baffle. Do they have one?
How do Fourbidden pipes sound, compared to V&H Big Radius 2 into 2 ?

Just a heads up, but the word is that Hooker is getting out of the bike exhaust business...some guys are real happy with Hookers, but some others have had complaints about quality...I have no experience either way, just FYI...

Fact is you won't see Hooker anytime soon with any type of info booth or anything for bike exhaust. They are going out of the Bike exhaust business and pursuing their automotive market only.

Check out the other thread about Hookers sale. Once their gone, their gone.
No new production. One thing you all may want to do is to order extra baffles, and tips too. They are cheap, and like I said, once gone, gone. Always nice to have a spare set just in case....
