Biltwell helmets are definitely cool helmets if your are looking for the bobber look. I also got my eye one. Cons could be they are non-Dot and their latching system could be a little better. Pros are they are bright so it's like wearing a reflective vest so cars could see you.

I am currently using an AGV Dragon helmet. It's a Dot helmet that's very comfortable and doesn't give me too much of a mushroom head. It also has the quick release latch system.

You should also checkout Buco Helmets.

not really... it is a DOT but that being said no, I don't think so, is not a "novelty helmet" this is the closest thing you gonna get to a low profile non DOT helmet...you can go for those if you want, I have a Buco helmet too for looks and stuff but not worth the $300 you're gonna pay for a real Buco from the 70's

I love both my helmets the same...one is DOT and one is not....don't kid your selt that you are gonna find a DOT that sits flat on your head cause you are not.
