Cool Yes - another exhaust question.

I'm looking for either a slip-on or full exhaust, doesnt matter. What I want is something that is loud when I gun it, has a nice sounding rumble to em, but doesnt make my ears bleed while on the highway.

I've been looking at the V&H Double Barrel Q series but also been looking at Rush 1.75 slipons. I like the look of both. I also like the look of the Screaming Eagle slipon ..but have heard that they dont give you much bang for your buck.

Based on what I'm looking for what do you think I should check out first?

Whats up Metal Brotha ? My brother has the Rush Slipons, they sound pretty good. I have a set of Screaming Eagle slip ons that were on my 05 when I bought it. They are louder than stock and virtually brand new, I will sell them for 200.00. Way cheaper than the Dealer price !!! Not a scratch on them. If interseted I will take a pic and let you see them. I just sold a set of Reinhart true duals, Louder yet just wasnt what I was looking for. Just strapped a set of V&H Big radius on the 103, now she sounds about right ! You in a band in TX? I sing in VA. Send me a message bro.

I have an 08 Heritage with Rush slip ons and the 2" baffle. they sound great at low idle and "getting on it" but I would like a little louder going down the road. I will try the 2.5" baffles soon. Hope this helps

That's your best bet!! It's hard to make decisions from opinions!! Plus it's a reason to hang & check out all the different bikes out there!!

I put a Supertrapp 2 into 1 on my 06 Standard. Add or remove as many discs as you want to get the sound you're looking for. 6 allen screws, only takes a few seconds with a cordlesss drill and you can have a quiet bike during the week and loud on the weekend. I bought mine used off ebay, it came with a closed and an open end cap, you can get pretty much whatever sound you want-except for the super loud pop-pop-pop you'd get from the really short pipes.

Hey Brother,
Another good place is YouTube.com, do a search on the pipes you want to hear and for the most part you will get at least a few samples to view, some of the audio is crap but most is good...

Bone

These are mine, I should have let the bike run a little longer.....maybe next time..lol
