Default 2009 Heritage Review

Does anyone own a 2009 Heritage? Just wondering what some of the likes/dislikes are. Also do the softails have the TBW like the touring bikes do?

Heritage has not changed in a few years except for paint. The last major change was the TC88B was replaced with the TC96B. I have a 95 Heritage and love it. What does TBW stand for? I hate acronyms. In your signature you have a 2004 Fat Boy, which you sold. Heritage is very similar to a Fat Boy.

TBW stands for throttle by wire. No more throttle cables like the touring bikes. According to the dealer the 09's are wayyy different. There wasn't any in stock so I haven't seen one. Suppose to have new handlebars, seat and a few other changes.

I don't trust electric throttle. But good luck in finding a bike you enjoy to ride.

Default 09 Heritage

09 Heritage does not have TBW. Like Prot said not a lot of changes on the 09. I had an 08 Road King which i wrecked. Bought the 09 Heritage, awesome ride. My wife and I both agree that it is a better ride the Road King.

I think the changes are all cosmetic....a different stud pattern on the bags and a new tank console are the biggest changes.

Just traded my 07ultra for an 09 heritage. Only regret that i have is that of wasting my money on the ultra. I think 07 was a very bad year for harley.

The changes also include a new tank console and the handle bars are taller.

I also noticed a slight change in the floorboards and coil cover? A little "old style" look.
