Default Forward controls on a Deluxe?

Has anyone put forward controls on there Deluxe's instead of floorboards? Ive got a 2008 Deluxe. Im thinking about doing this with Accutronix Forward Control Adapter Plate Kit. These plates allows mounting of 1984-99 forward controls on 2000-2008 twin cam softails. If anyone has forward controls on there Deluxe's, Fatboy's, or Heritage can i get some pictures of there setup. Thanks

Do you want to get rid of the floorboards or some extra comfort on highway?
I think Deluxe looks good with floorboards, I have hwy pegs though.

What highway bracket is that you have on your bike? I like the feeling of being streched out better than sitting straight up. Thats why i would like to get forward controls.

I hear you, I don't like floorboards riding position on highway either.
They are Kuryakyn MARK III, they are mounted under the floorboards, fully adjustable.

Default Sweet forwards

These are some sweet looking forward controls. I like how you can keep the floor boards and have the forwards together. Brilliant idea! I have an engine gaurd on my Deluxe so I guess I will just add some hwy pegs and be done with it....

For now I am keeping it. I have too much money in it to just give it away and I refuse to get raped on it. Perhaps I will disect it a little and sell some of the custom parts on Ebay but that seems like too much work and time consuming, so I am not quite sure yet. We'll see depending on which bike I like better in the long run; the Deluxe or Sportster.....My guess will be the Deluxe but we shall see....
