Arrow Deep exhaust note

As I read through a lot of the different forums, I'm finding that a lot of riders are looking for a loud & deep rumble to their exhaust, as I am. We ain't never gonna match the sound of an old Shovelhead. If anyone has come up with a combo that realistically comes close to the sound of that era. (short of swapping out engines) LET ME KNOW!!!!!

I don't know about getting the sound of a shovelhead, but man my V7H Longshots have the (at least for me) quintessential deep throaty Harley rumble, and while I like the looks of some other pipes I don't think I would be able to get rid of them because of the deep sound I get out of them.

dont confuse the sound of a shovel with performance. the sound of a shovel is very much the sound of sloppy clearance, loose tolerance, leaky seals, touchy starters, melting wires and the thought that "any second this whole thing can blow up right under me"
oh man i just got all excited. I'm gonna have to get that beast outta the barn.

You hit the nail on the head with that comment... I used to love the feeling of each explosion... and the anticipation of the next one....

why did I ever get rid of it.... oh yea... there was all of that other stuff...
