Default Polishing that FXSTC rear wheel

Hi All, What is the best stuff to to make the rear wheel of my FXSTC sparkle?
I have a lot of spots from brake dust and I am losing the shine more and more everytime I ride. Any reccomended products out there?

Thanks a lot

I thought the same thing, so I found a used wheel and sent it to CA and had it chromed for $250. They polished the rough cast off so now it's smooth. I sold the original one what I bought the used one for, so I was only out the shipping and the chrome. Guy @American Chrome,or something like in Pasedena that did an excellent job, haven't heard that chrome that hog in san diego does a very good job though, I'd stay away from them.
Guess what no more dull looking wheel.

I use Mothers w/ the power ball. A question I have is, is it a big deal to get the back wheel off, then back on? It would be ideal to take the wheel off to polish it and to put a type of sealer like Rejex on it.

I have the same issue... I polish by hand with Mothers...it's not easy.

When I was in Milwaukee, the new model tent rep told me the 09's have a chrome rear wheel...true?

Would be nice if they did. Saves the 09 buyers from experiencing this problem.

Best thing to use to make your rear wheel sparkle is good old Cash and lots of it. Replace the wheel with a chrome or billet wheel and be done with it.

I use the mothers power ball mini with the power metal polish. Shines the wheel up really nice...for a while. But polished aluminum is still polished aluminum, and it requires a lot of upkeep. I would love to have the rear wheel on my 07 night train chromed, just to cut down on the headache of polishing.

Simichrome and a power ball. It leaves a protective finish, but will still need upkeep.
