Default joined the dropped my bike club today!

i have been ridng for 14 years, today i must of had a brainfart and i forgot to put down the jiffy stand in the driveway this morning.
i now have to replace my clutch lever, derby cover and both turn signals on the leftside. atleast i didnt f up the tins or paint! wasnt a problem getting it back up, i was so pissed, got it up like it was nothing.
i think i also tweaked the handlebars because they look a little lower on the leftside than the right. is it possible they got bent?

I think everybody's done that before. It happened to me once here at work. Fortunately, the engine gaurd did it's job. The bike didn't get a scratch anywhere.

yeah something just doesnt look right. when i dropped it, the bars were in the locked position,
and the end of the handle bars took the force of the drop. the clutch lever snapped in two.
when im sitting in my normal riding position the bar looks about 1/2 inch lower on the left side compared to the right but i cant find any sign of a bend or tweak. i havent rode it yet, just hope its okay. it wasnt a real hard fall but the damn thing weighs so much, hopefully its just the bars, dont know what else it could be.

You think that's bad, I work alongside UK Police riders and the sgt in charge took delivery of a liveried BMW Police demo bike from the importers and went to sit on it.

He cought his foot on the rear bodywork and both went down on the rightside in a big heap. Covered in embarrassment, and fuelled by adrenalin, he got up and lifted it upright only to forget he'd put the kickstand up originally and the bike went over on its left side.

The delivery van driver hadn't got off the estate when he got the call to come and collect it...

Laugh? Oh, yes...
