I’m in the progress of installing 16” Nash Smart Gimps on my Night Train. Trying to decide weather to just put basic nylon black cables back on, or spring for the Magnum Black Pearl Braided Cables. How do you think the Magnum Black Pearls will look on a Night Train and are they worth the money? Opinions Please.

 

Can you find nylons for 6 over? If so, I need a 44 inch.

 

I put them on my black standard, I think they look great and love them! I have heard of others that didn't like them as much b/c they aren't exactly "black" by that I mean they aren't dark black, more of a dark grey. They are well worth the money as far as quality goes, however if you want some "black" cables, you may want to consider nylon.

 

I like em......put them on my 05 Springer Classic with smarty gimps as well....I think they look great!!!! Was hesitant because of what I read here, but had no other alternative as I didn't like the standard black and I didn't think stainless or ??chromite?? would look good with the black apes.

One of the guys I ride with got the black braided lines. They look okay, but I would just use regular and save the money for something else...

 

i got them on my 07 night train they are nice but i think i ordered them to long

 

Just go down to your local napa and get some emergency brake cable and sheath, youll be set for $10...
