i have 2002 fxsti and this winter i am planning on upgrading to a 200 rear. i have been told thats the widest i can go without changing the swingarm. i know i have to cut the struts and go to an 18" rim but will my stock caliper work? i was also told i have to switch to a chain drive or the '06+ narrower belt/pulley. i think a 200 is good enough for me and was wondering if anyone has done this. any ideas or help would be appretiated... thanks.
ps, if i do this i'll be selling a 16" rim with a 150 (500 miles on it so far - no burn outs yet either) and the stock belt and pulley which is narrower than the old style belts so you can run the 150. thanks
