Default Lowering kit question........

anyone know how to adjust one of these??? my bike might be a hair lower than it needs to be, pipes scraping a bit too much......thanks in advance.

Your bike doesn't look that low... I certainly wouldn't raise it up. Your pipes are lower than the frame though, so I'm not surprised you scrape. I think you'll either need to change pipes or live with it.

If you absolutely must raise it, all you need to do is loosen the locknut on the shock studs and turn them in equal amounts (effectively shortening the shocks). Tighten down the locknuts when satisfied.

i dont think it was lowered in that pic...........also that sucker will get quite a bit lower when a 6'5/280 lb man jumps on the back of it. I can deal with the scraping myself but im goin to a rally this weekend and my girl is gonna be on there with me. Its a little too much with us both on there...

is it a stock deuce? if so can i lower my stock deuce?? i have an 01 and was wanting to lower it a lil

yeah u can lower it with the harley softail kit even though it says u cant

Unless you change or alter your exhaust, you will have to plan all your trips so all you make is left turns.

the exhaust isnt actually under the frame like it appears in the pic, im a tall guy so it must be the angle that i took the photo from
