Default Rocker Rear Signals are 1 of a kind!!!

I found out the hard way that the rear signals on the Rocker are 1 of a kind. A rock or something apparently hit my the housing and knocked off the lens. I picked up a new lens and noticed it looked a bit lighter in color and then found that it wouldn't go on. The original is a full assembly that doesn't offer the lens as a separate piece for ordering. The stealer looked up everything and found nothing. I called the stealer I bought the bike from, they are really easy to work with, and they said I was A S S out. Only available as a whole assembly... $2HDs that is!!! I've looked at every other model made and nothing is similar. They are all the standard Softail lights...not Rocker lights.

I need the number for a good after market model that someone has on their Rocker. I know Kuryakyn makes them as well as many others. I know everyone has seen this and seen that but I just want the model # to save all the hassles. I'm going to replace both of them now with something not so hard to find...

Any help out there would be appreciated.

Cant just replace a lens cuz they're sealed LED units.. All of the aftermarket LED signals are the same to the best of my knowledge...

Heartland sells complete units.. Just tell them they are replacements for a Rocker..

Now that you have no choice, but to buy a complete unit, it would be a good time to find a sharp custom light.
Good luck,
Tom

Since your lens fell off, does the LED inside burn red or white?

Not only are the OEM expensive, but the wires are a pain in the a$$ to route. Don't ask me how I know, I just know.

From what I understand about the Rocker tails lights I would not be quick to change them out. Since the fender is mounted to the swing arm the light housings are made out of magnesium for strength and weight and the light is an LED because a standard bulb filiment would not survive the movement. HD put a lot of engineering and testing into that rear fender setup to make sure it would take the punishment. Just be careful, you don't want to create more problems than what you already have.
