Default Heritage spokes vs. cast wheels

Has anyone who put cast wheels on their Heritage noticed any difference in the ride. I was thinking about cast wheels for my Heritage, but if it will make the Heritage ride like my Fatboy I'm not doing it. Any info please.

Guess what? You won't want to do it then. It will ride like your Fatboy and will take additional spacers for the disc and rear belt alignment. Got a great deal (free but gave friend $120 anyways) on a set of FB rims and put them on my '97 Heritage. Rides stiffer in the front end and grabs the wind more when windy but I like it though. Took two weeks to eye-drop canned "rubber dip" into the lil holes to black them out and I think they look nicer than my spokes plus no spoke maintenance.

I was thinking about HD part # 43919-07 front and 40827-08 rear. They are black slotted six spoke cast wheels. Fairly open design, wouldn't catch wind. I think they would look good on a Heritage.

Agreed. If I switch, those are the exact wheels I'd go with.
