Default What saddlebags do people have on there customs? PICS??

Hi All, I am in the market for some saddlebags for my 08 Custom.

I would like the quick detach option with the ghost brackets so nothing is visible to the eye when they are off.

I was wondering what people have on their bikes or what brand they recommend.

Some pictures would be awesome to get a good visual.

Thanks a lot

Ryan

I got my bags from Osprey w/the quick detach mounts and I think they are GREAT. WONDERFUL bags and I can take them off and on in seconds. They are large enough to pack lots of stuff. I used them on a 4300 mi round trip to Sturgis and just came back from a 700 round trip through the Smoky Mountains. He mades the bags to your specs and you can add fringe and silver conchos. Dave is the guys name and I HIGHLY recommend him.

Check out their site and see all the buckles. Was about 200 and has been doing well for the last 5000 miles. Gives you a place for things when making a day trip. I even carried pancakes in it. www.garageleathers.com

On my Standard I just got some throw-overs that I cut the yolk off and put E-Z Brackets on. Probably going to get some bigger bags this spring and put the E-Z Brackets On them.

I got these hard bags of of E-bay, Dirt cheap, Like $85.00 and they were painted black already, Have them mounted with E-Z brackets so they come off in about 30 seconds with a key. I had to relocate the turn signals to the back for clearance. I will find the link for these bags if you are interested, Let me know if you need more info.

I have seen ammo cans and samsonite luggage used before. I got my Willie and Max bags for 40 on ebay and because they are only used on trips they do the job.

Mine were built by Just Leather in San Jose CA. They have a good web site and I think they are on there second generation of family running the business. They make the bags and have the Ghost Brackets. I rode 350 miles to get mine and they installed them that day. I'll put together an album on my account.
