Hard Bags on Fatboy?
The OL is getting tired of carrying a backpack when we go out for rides. I am tossed up whether I want hard bags or leather bags on my Fatty. I do not like the HD bags for the Fatty because I think they look too small for the bike. I am looking for pics of all bags and experiences with hard bags on the Fatty. Thanks in advance

Leatherlyke make a hard but leather looking bag that's lockable. Here's the link...

I found they are on the small side ... at least for what I would want to carry and they are not cheap by any means.
Personally, I prefer having a quick release carrier on the back for a bag. The size of my bag depends on the length of my intended ride. I can carry my full pack when I'm going on a trip or a small overnight bag for shorter rides. I like to carry something big enough to accomdate my leathers (if I choose to take them off) and rain gear ... I like to be prepared so need them or not, I like to have 'em with me, just in case.

You wont have much choice for the size of bags, unless you have changed out your exhaust. Your album shows the stock exhaust.
Iron Bags are about as close to hard bags and still leather, that you are going to find. They give you a choice of where to mount them forward/aft if you don't want to move your signals. They have multiple sizes, styles and accessories you can add. I went with the mid-sized Thunder model and had them add cargo straps and some studs. Their bags are made with very thick leather, so there is no problem with them holding their shape.

I have to change my album, I have the V&H BR 2-2 now so I will have plenty of clearance for pipes
