Default Chrome wind deflectors installed

I installed them after hearing positive things about them here. I have extremely sensitive eyes when it comes to cool air. They water terribly. The bad news is the deflectors actually make it worse. I don't wear a helmet so I can't comment on the buffeting, but they certainly do not help my eyes. I will just continue wearing my Jacks Flaps Vest which works well and uninstall the wind deflectors.

I got them to keep my goatee out of my eyes and it seems to help.

Not sure what to tell you about your sensitivity. Might want to look into a better pair of riding glasses. They make them with pads that "seal" them to your face so no outside wind bothers your eyes. I would think that would be your best answer.

+1 on the "sealing glasses/goggles".

I wouldn't take my HD wind deflectors off for anything. they work great for me - but, I also run a windshield, and get NO helmet buffering.

it's interesting how one product works for some and not for others....

I just installed these about 2 weeks ago as well. They did not just bolt on to my 07 FLSTC because they hit the turn signals. I had to cut a 9/16" deep socket to get to the nut with the wire running through it in the housing and adjust my turn sigs and passing lights. Pain in the @ss. That said, they do cut quite a bit of wind from coming up from below and I use a windshield as well.

I think the addition of soft lowers (mounted on the crash bars) may even cut the wind more. I may give that a shot.
