Default The first mods done to my bike my MEEEEEEE

I know some of you guys will laugh cause these are probably the most simple things you can do to a bike but i don't care lololol. I'm excited, i beat my fear of doing work to my own bike.

so yesterday i changed my mirrors and shift linkage. guess what ?!?!! i didn't brake anything hahahahaha.

here are the pics.

You trying to launch a rocket off the side of that thing, or is that your air cleaner?
j/k Nice lookin' scoot.
Props for doing the work yourself too. Its a nice feeling when you are done, knowing you did it yourself, regardless of the ease of the task.

lol, yeah, it was a hell of a feeling to put those on there and not have them fall off the very next time i rode the bike haahahaha. i went to the stealer today to take care of some business and while i was there I bragged to one of the parts department guys....lol.

That tool set I bought at Sears over the weekend is gonna be one of the best investments I will ever make for my ride.

Looks great!!! How are those grips? And are you trying to compensate for something with that air cleaner, or is it a joust to make sure you don’t survive a fall. (Just kidding)
That’s one thing great about a Rocker is that any thing goes. Old school or new school, try to put one of those on a deluxe.
You are certainly in the club now !!!!

the grips are nice man !! they are nice and thick. with that surface on them they are easier to feel when your hands go numb from the cold air...lol

Good job man! The bike looks great. Keep up the work, you will find that
you can probably do everything yourself eventually. I just finished relocating my turn signals. Other things i did myself include: installing pipes, a/c, mirrors, side mount license plate, chrome axle covers, chrome lower belt guard, chrome switch covers, arlen ness lowering kit, fwcw seat, etc.
