Default Night Train rear Fender on a FatBoy

I've seen a few members replacing their stock Fat Boy (2007 & up) rear fenders with the DuckTail or Night Train style rear fender. Can't decide of if I like the look or not. What do you all think? It does show off the rear 200 tire a lot better IMO.

I've got a Duck Bill on my xbones and it's being replaced with a 07 Fatboy fender this winter. I don't care for the D/B.

There both softails, I dont see a problem, the blinkers on a NIGHT TRAIN ARE ON THE FENDER, SO YOU WILL HAVE TO MOVE THEM!

I agree the bobbed fender shows off the rear tire... especially when you relocate the plate and lower it ....I'm saving my pennies to get the Progressive 422's...

Me neither, but I don't quite know whether it will be this winter! Bit short on semoleans!!

Good luck with the swap out.

Can't say I like the duck bill either... then again I don't want a full fender as it would like too much like other bikes...

So for now I'm still looking...

Yaa, I know, that's why I may cut it if I think it's to long.

If I has an x bones it would have a bobbed strutless rear fender and side mounted plate. My train has a bobbed fender.

For those of you that don't like the duck bill, have any of you thought about trying a hacksaw on it? I ran my bike like this for a little while a couple years back. I cut the fender just barely too short to keep water off my back so I changed back to stock. I think just 1" longer would have done the trick. Also, I know it would have looked better lowered, but I was scraping the boards easily enough already.

I paid to much hard earned money to be taking a hacksaw to it
