Signed the paperwork on my new '09 Vintage Black Heritage Classic yesterday. They are doing a few things to my bike and I will pick it up next Friday. I'm using this week to grab some new mirrors, visor trim rings, half-moon floorboard inserts, and maybe some skull accessories ...those go on first thing! ..well, after a bit of cold weather riding.

Needless to say, this is going to be a long week!!

Dude, this'll be the longest week of your life. When I purchased my bike, I only had to wait 24 hours to pick it up since I couldn't drive the car and the bike home at the same time. That 24 hours seems to last longer than the 30 days I spent in jail a few years ago.

 

Congratulations! I bought mine at closing time and they had someone stay late to prep it and I had to wait till they opened the next morning to pick it up. I couldn't sleep all night. Longest 13 hours in my life.

 

Yeah tell me about it. The only reason I have to wait a week is because I needed two weeks to get the down payment together, but I put $500 down to get them to hold it. They had the one I wanted there. So I pick it up next Fri when I put the rest down.

Yup, long week no matter how you cut it.
