Default Idle mixture screw

Do you have to remove the carb. to drill out and adjust the idle mixture screw on a 06 fxst.

I personally would remove the carb but the mecanic at my
Harley dealer did it without removing it. Experience and a special
tool perhaps?

Default RE: Idle mixture screw

I just re-jetted this week, and I found that my mixture screw was already drilled out. I bought the bike new and it's only been to the dealer 3 times for regular service. No one else has touched it. Wonder why they did that...
