Default *****geometry lesson learned*****

If you have a Fatboy Lo
+
you have a King Size wind shield
+
you pull over on the side of a highway
+
you park facing the direction of travel flow
+
a semi leaves Baltimore at 3PM and passes you at 70 MPH
=
a draft that will move your Lo forward enough to fold your kickstand and decrease your critical verticality by 90 degrees.

damn you trucks..

Rollafatty, Do you know anything about those turn signals? Could you take some close up pics of how they mount? I wonder how the detatchable windshield would match up with those.......

Not sure who makes the front signals. They mount to a bracket on the side of the forks using the same location that the windshield would mount to. It doesn't look like you could mount a windshield without doing some major modification.

Did you do the install yourself? If so how was it? I have heard of some issues with the plug on the underside of the tank.

Thank fullly it fell into grass for the most part. Man am I glad I bought the engine guard.. I have dirt and grass one the guard, but the shield and bars were ok. My swing arm bag took to back end with the exception of losing one rear blinker I was pretty lucky..

That's good it didn't mess much up. Maybe if you cut it down to 16" it will catch less air next time.
