Default FXSTC Seat on an 2004 FXSTBi Night Train

Hi Guys, just got my first Harley, a 2004 Night train.

Question i wanted to ask was will a seat from an 06 FXSTC Softail Custom (King and Queen) fit on my 04 without a lot of hassle ?

anyone done it ? Thoughts on why it wouldn't work ?

thanks

Kevin

Wecome to the Forum from Colorado!

I don't believe it will fit due to the fender size. The Night Train has a 150 wide tire and the Custom has a 200 wide tire. The fenders are different between the two models.
Hopefully some one else will chime in.

I have a 05 night train, that i put a seat off of a regular softail,it fits and works, but there is a gap between fender and seat.
back story:my wife complains about the lack of padding in my seat.A friend had just purchased a new mustang seat for his softail and then traded for a street glide,so i bought the seat from him to make the wife happy.I dont like it but i only put it on when she rides.
Dont know if this helps but that all i got for you.Good luck
