softail standard was only bike in 2003?
|
Many people ask if My bikes a custom and I tell them no I think they only made softail standards in 2003 right? Whats years did they drop the custom?

They made the softail standard alot longer then one year but 2003 might have been the last year they made it I know that was the last year they made the heritage springer

I think the Softail Standard was made from 1998 to 2007. They put the wider (200mm) tire on them in 2006.

I have an 05 standard with a carb, which was hard to find, and a 150 tire (which I like better than the 200). They made a handful of carb'ed standards in 06, to my knowledge they're rare.

I love this bike I cant wait to find a EVO softail thats the next bike I buy. I want one from 96 to 99 that way I get the newer style wiring
