Default Dyna beads 21 x 3.5 rim and tire choise

I want to install a 21 x 3,5 front fat spoke rim with a with wall tire on my Deluxe. Now i heart that some oversize a tire with a tube and the use of Dynabeads. Can you help me with the brand for the tire and how much weight was added with the Dynabeads. Or do you go for a 21 x 3 rim?

Thanks Paul

no idea on the tire, but for motorcuycle tires, Dyan beads recommend 1 1/2 -2 ounces per tire.

I am not quite sure what you are asking but I'll try to answer. For a front tire 80-120 mm (width) you use 1oz of dyna beads. For a rear tire 130-240mm (width) you use 2 oz's of dyna beads.I just installed some on my 2010 Deluxe and they work great I will never go back to regular wheel weights again. As far as the tire goes (white walls)biggest is the new Vee rubber 120-70-21 if you can find it.Or you can stretch a 90-90-21 Avon Venom WW or Metzler 880 WW over whatever rim you buy.But if you go with a 90-90-21 tire I would not go with a 3.5 " width rim.I would go no wider than a 3" rim.Even that is really strecthing the tires limits and it is not recommended by the tire companies.Plenty have done it on here with no problems but a 90-90-21 tire is meant to go on a rim no wider than 2.15" as per the tire companies.

The dyna beads website will tell you what you need for your tire. I have used liquid products in the past, pre-dyna bead, and they also worked great, but they seem to no longer be acceptable. Dyna bead is a dry product that performs as a fluid irt to wheal balance, but without the tire market complaints. OH, they will still not like them, but have absolutely no greivance. They can even allow a bad design to run properly, the tire companies should adore them.

Hey Lucky
No not a ww. Metz does not make a 120 in them. There is a company making them, but at this moment i can not remember what they are called. There is a post on this tire some where.

+1 on the Dyna beads. I used them in my front tire and it's smooth as silk. I'll use them from now on for every tire for my bike. I might even give them a try on my 4x4 truck tires. I think thats what they were orginally made for.
