Default Dowco Guardian Weatherall Plus Cover - Size?

I have a 2009 Fatboy with windshield and large bags. I plan to purchase the Dowco Guardian Weatherall Plus Cover. Which size should I get - L or XL? The size chart says L for Fatboy, but it doesn't mention bags were considered in the size calculation. The size chart says XL for Heritage Softail Classic. The Heritage has the back rest, but my Fatboy does not.

I would think XL. I have an XL cover for my fatboy which has 16" apes and it fits. If it is a little too big the elastic at the bottom will still make the cover sit tight around the bike.
