I am in need of a quality cover. The best deal I have found is for a Nelson Rigg Premier sold by NewEnough.com for $30. It is a generation old and on closeout.
I am concerned about the size. Manufacturer sizing is extremely vague and with my HD w/s says my 883 sporty should size at XL. XL? That doesn't sound right.
Couple questions. Does anyone have this cover and can recommend it? And if so, what size?
Or any other good waterproof ones out there that will work? Hard to beat $30 though.
I've got a Nelson Rigg and it works fine.
I got an XL cause I have mini apes and saddlebags on my scoot. You can always go XXL and secure it with bungee cords through the grommets.
I got a Nelson-Rigg deluxe all weather. I beleive I bought a XL for my nightster and it's just a lil too large unless I keep on the sissy bar backrest then its perfect fit.
That's a pretty good deal. I got their econo cover (which is basically a sewn heavy duty shower curtain ) for 15 bucks. It works great so far. I got a Large. I actually prefer its non elastic bottom. My last cover had elastic and it was a pain to have to manually slip it over every single piece of my bike that extended out. With this one, I just toss it up, let the air billow it out, and slowly walk it over my bike. Simple!
To close this thread out ... I bought the cover in my OP in size XL. It fits perfect and does a great job at waterproofing as described. I couldn't be happier.
