Motorcycle Lifts

Depends
Depends on what you want to do and spend. My cheap one does fine for home maintenance. You can see what I have done on it in my albums. Cheap one from Harbor Freight. Think Sears and Northern has similar cheap one. I do not have room for a full lift and you would still need a jack with it.

J & S is superb. Do a search on this site, as there are many threads.
I just got my Pit Bull today. 119 pounds UNBOXED. Lifetime guarantee. I think it's even better than the excellent J & S.
You can't lose either way.

For most work like installing I bolt the Condor chock onto the rail of the four post lift.
For services and access to the wheels for removal or cleaning, I got the high lift from HF for about $160. I have the regular floor model to move the bike around. The high lift doesn't move when there is a bike on it.
My body is not as flexible now that I'm 70 so I need to have what I'm working on at eye level.
Sometimes I get lazy. I just came in from installing a Cobra Fi2000r on the Ultra and the SE stage I breather while I was sitting on the concrete floor. I was too lazy to back out two vehicles to put the bike on the high lift.
