Default Dealer special on 103" Big Bore-$1600w/labor!

I just got back from a performance seminar from Appalachian Harley in my area. It was done by a Harley Factory Rep. Power point presentation with great explanation on upgrades and tuning. They are running a special on the 103" Big Bore Kit. $1000 without cams and $1600 with cams including labor. That is a great deal and has me very excited. They said just changing my cams to SE204 is not going to give me the hot rod choppy idle I am after. That alone would cost me $1,000. For $600 more they said I will get closer to what I want with the kit. Looking for feedback on people with 103's. Are they correct?

I would ask a lot of questions. Torrington bearings or keep same bearings? Dyno or stock map? (more knowledgeable folks will probably chime in with more/better questions.)
