I have seen a few bikes on here, but can't find them now, where guys have chopped the fatboy rear fender and removed the fender strut covers, running only the shorter fender supports. My question is, can you still run a passenger. My guess would be yes, since you are only removing the covers, but want to be sure. Second part of the question is this....any one with a Heartalnd kit or other rear replacement have a set of struts they want to give up???

 

No struts here, but you would be fine going 2 up
