Default Determining Cable lengths

I am interested in changing the OEM handle bars on my Deluxe and need to determine the new cabling length. Does anyone know how one would go about figuring out the new cable lengths to order? I intend on running 16" Carlini Gangster Apes.....

Carlini's run a little taller so the 16's are 17.5" if im not mistaken. Then you have to factor in your risers 1.5 or 2 and you will be at 18" or 18.5 .I'm sure you know you'll have to switch out your risers also. You should be ok with +10 cables but you might want to ask Carlini when you order your bars. I just installed 18's (not carlini) on my buddys bike and he went with +10 and had enough cable. I'm sure someone with 16 carlinis will chime in.

Thanks man, I am aware about the risers replacement as the ones i currently have are OEM pullback risers which will not accommodate the 1.50 thickness. I will ask Carlini, but is your +10 suggestion for throttle, clutch and brake cable

Yeah we went +10 on all cables, the front brake cable was a couple of inches long but we routed it to where it worked ok to give him enough play. Change out your riser bushings also, with taller bars you get more leverage so you want to elimenate any movement in the bars and risers. I used Good n Tight brand bushings on my buddys ride. Here are a few pics of my buddys whip, which used to be my old 06 now he owns it.
