Default Mustang seat question

I just bought a new mustang seat (#94785) for my '11 Heritage classic. Seems a bit harder than original, wife said the same. Haven't gone for any longer rides yet though. What should I expect?

Had one on my Roadking. Yeah,it is kinda hard...at first, but then it kind of molds itself to your butt. All of a suddern ridin long distance was cool, and my back or butt didn't hurt. Give it some ridin time.I think you'll see a difference..

Mine was hard at first, then it kinda moulded to my rear end and I can honestly say it's the best money I have spent on the bike. You are going to love it.

Did you even try one out first?

When I had my Sportster I was looking at getting a Sundowner seat until I sat on one a guy at the dealership had on his bike. OMG...the most uncomfortable thing ever.

By the way, my Heritage has the most comfy seat I have ever sat on, bone stock.

my first mustang was the day tripper- it did take awhile to "break in"... but it never got so broken in that the butt time was endless...
the seat i have on my bike now is the wide mustang. that seat was comfortable from the beginning. maybe it got more comfortable over time- i really did not notice a big difference. gotta say that the wide mustang was endless butt time for me and much better for my +2.

Yep - seats need to be broken in. My Mustang is the most comfortable, and we can ride nearly endless hours on it without butt fatigue.
