Thanks for the replies guys. I found the problem. On the left side of the tank, right behind where the speedometer plug is, is a smaller plug that probably detached while I was moving the tank back into position. Hooked it up, reattached the battery and lights works again! I checked the right side and the same plug is on that side also. Not for sure what else goes through this plug but the turn signals definitely do....

 

Hey everyone. The mounting kit used to mount the turn signals to the windshield mounts in this write up are no longer available. Does anyone know where a similar kit can be found?

 

thanks for this write up. it cleared up the installation instructions that came with the kit I was installing.

 

Wish I had taken more pics of the kit. You can probably find everything at am Ace hardware store for less then $20.00.
