Default Best place to buy hard bags (FLH) style

I am thinking about getting some hard bags for my fatty. I miss being able to lock stuff up.

Is ebay the best place to find bags or is there a vendor out there that sells them for a decent price.

Depends on how much you want to spend but used will definitely be cheaper than new. Although new you can get stretched bags like serjayson has on his LO.

I am thinking of turning my LO into a LO BAGGER and adding a fairing and stretched hard bags. I originally was going to keep my Lo as a hotrod bar hopper but I just dont know if I can justify spending the money on 2 bikes.

You rang sir? Ebay is probably your cheapest route for the hardbags and hardware. And your gonna need a longer rear fender to match the bags. It does get pricey thats for sure. This is how mine came out.

early FLH bas are sold through V-Twin Mfg.

I had a set on my Dyna!

Here is a pic of them...after I had them painted.

After I, and a couple other guys on here did this....the Switchback came out with the same size bags.....I am convinced they got the idea from this forum!

Your bike just looks sick bro! I'm on the fence about it but mine would turn out really similar to yours since I was looking at the Reckless fairing too. Its by far the best option for the price.

Brutus01 your right about Reckless for the money its hard to beat. If you do bag your Lo similar to mine be prepared for the attention. I get stopped pretty much where ever I go. Cars pull up beside me to stare and ask questions, and at rallies I park and stay away from my bike. I'm not the type that likes a whole lot of attention but it does feel good to know people like what you did. Good luck on whatever you decide and if ya have any questions or if I can be of any help just let me know. Oh and if your gonna get your rear fender from Baddad talk to me first. Ride safe.
