Thanks, I love it. Gonna have to get a solo bag or something for storage since the bagger was a no go.

About the street glide? I didn't like the way It sat at all. You sit too high, seems like your feet are under you and my wrists felt like they were at my knees. And I'm a fuzz under 6' foot tall. I was cramped. No breeze due to the tall windshield it had. Just wasn't a fan. Now if it had apes, a drop seat kit, and was lowered quite a bit it might be doable. but not for putting all that on top of a 17 thousand or so dollar bike.

Still toying with the idea of rebuilding a wrecked one how I want it. but I'd have to sell the bones to fund all that.

Ok what's all this hate for the stock xbones seat....I got a 2011 and put 6,000 miles on it so far and love the seat.. Love the look... And also I like to sit up a little higher. I do admit on a long trip your rear end can get sore but I've had that on any bike I've owned.

Old thread, I know. Still must be some CB riders out there somewhere. I bought a slightly used 08 Crossbones this past spring. Saw it on CL posted from a local dealership. I remember seeing the CB in a magazine and thinking that I could ride one of those! Anyway, I kept going back to the CL listing like for a month or two, wondering why this awesome bike hadn't sold?
Finally, I rode my beemer over to have a look. Man, that bike was SPEAKIN' to me! 8400 original miles! The next day I went back and did the deal.
The original seat seam was tearing loose so I put the HD tractor seat on her and love it.

I like that color and the fact that there is none of the pin-striping. I just picked up a Xbones last month as well.

I ride quite often with my buddy who has a real nice 2015 Road Glide Special but most of the time when we stop the crowd is around my bike not his.
