Nope ..... You should send me that springer for immediate disposal......
I will love her the way she should be.
Seriously man you have one of the "coolest" factory bikes ever made.
Must be something to that different strokes thing i don't know how guys get rid of springers or get bored with them.
Don't sweat it man. Like any hobby, there are times you may be more interested in it than others. Make a list of your plans (so you don't forget it if a good deal of time passes) and store the parts. For now just keep the bike as is and when your interest piques again you can continue.

I hear ya, different strokes. I don't get why some are so fascinated with Springers. I've read some threads on here where some people have described riding a springer as if it was a spiritual experience and it just cracks me up. This isn't my first HD but it's the first I've lost motivation for.
Yes we might all go through ups and downs. And not even if you change your mind to finish what you started or not. People change their mind on what to do and what not to do.
People vary from bikes being their life to it being an occasional reason to get away for an hour or two. I say just keep it running and safe and see what happens through the upcoming riding season. I can't wait for it to drop below the 90's here.
Going through the same thing myself. Don't have much time to ride now days anyway and when I do it's usually pouring down rain. I believe when I do get more time I'll get the fever back.
