I have some makeshift spacers that are very temporary until I get to my local hardware. They have a bunch of odd ball spacers and stuff that are polished stainless steel.


If you are thinking about this windshield....do yourself a favor and stop thinking and order it. I got mine from www.surdyke.com for way cheaper than HD.com

Where did you get the wheels from, and what size are they?

Looks good. I'm surprised you couldn't get the brackets in black
to begin with. My 'king' windshield was available with black brackets....

Also, if you get alot of 'buffeting' from wind coming under the windshield,
you might try some fork wind deflectors (aka 'fangs'). Here's a pic of
what they look like:

Yes, I have a fatboy. I'll have to swing into the dealership and see if they installed on any fatboy's and find out what size spacer they used.

The dealer I bought the bike from put them on but they are the RC Components "Crank" in 18" Front 17" rear. also got the matching pulley and brake rotors
