Default Pics: Added Fatboy Wheel/Tire to my 08 Night Train

So after much research and help from a few guys on this forum, I finally made the switch to the fat front tire on my 08 Night Train (from the original 21 inch rim and skinny tire). I have wanted this look for a long time and it feels good to be done with it.

My local bike shop had a stock 16 inch fatboy wheel/tire and a fatboy fender that was originally purple. I've painted most parts on my bike flat black so painted these as well.

It handles great and looks awesome.

Thoughts?

Looks great Dave! Welcome to the phat club! Can't beat the looks and handling, I'm planning on upsizing to a 160 front next tire change.

I'm partial to the 21" tire... but it looks nice! To each their own.

Thanks guys. With my 200 rear tire and the overall flow of my bike, I thought the fat tire in front was necessary. Looks balanced now.

Default Fatness!

I really like the fat front wheel and tire on your bike. It might make sense to fatten up that headlight now

I think its a win/win. Bike looked good before, and it looks good now.

You made a good choice on front tire and wheel size. I went with 17" on both front and rear on the NT in my sig pic. Made a few other changes too...................................

For the OP and Jreichart,

Aside from a tire and rim, what else was needed to make the change to the larger tire?
