Got my LePera Silhouette Solo on and had to go for a ride snow and all. This thing sits like a dream and has just enough padding to make it ride-able. Only out for an hour or so, but my butt loved it.
(bags come off in the spring)


This seat bolts on at the sides (like I wanted) but left the stock seat fender bolts exposed. Sollution? Take the back plate off stock seat and screw it down set the LePera on top:

Do you ever put the passenger pillion on? If so should slide right onto those bolts

 

I too recently ordered and installed a Le Pera Silhouette seat. Man they sure change the whole look of the bike. I ordered the silhouette deluxe and pillion through amazon (best price ever). I wanted a little more padding under my rump. The only thing I dislike is with the silhouette deluxe the pillion mounts to the seat and fender not like with yours where it will mount to just the fender. Your really look great, kind of wish I had ordered the same now.

Yeah, it worked out well that way. I was thinking I'd have to also swap the seat when taking the wife, but now it's all set...

I've been running the Silhoutte solo with gel for a few years now, and I'm a happy camper.

Got the Silhouette passenger pillion with gel for my girl last year, and she tells me everytime we're out how much she likes it.

It's not easy finding something that looks that good and sits that well, but these seats pull it off.

 

Same as a Bare Bones Le Pera right?

 

No more padding and a slightly different shape in the silhouette.
